I specialise in photography, printmaking and mixed media drawing. Digital photography is my main focus but I also like to use my Holga and fisheye lomography cameras. Screenprinting is my favourite printmaking technique. Trace Monotypes are another technique I like to use. With my mixed-media drawing, I like to use ink, gouache, watercolour, collage, pen and pencil.
I have a contemporary style. It often can be graphic and has a strong sense of design. I like bright, bold colours but also like to experiment with other colour combinations. I am also drawn toward abstract styles.
I am drawn to the beauty and solitude of nature and the landscape. I have also explored ideas relating to family and ‘collecting memories’ with old photos and objects. Art is an effective tool to represent issues in society. Art plays a very important role in our world and culture.
