This year my work has been dominated by a theme of identity, especially relating to belief systems and experiences from childhood. In printmaking this has resulted in representations of times and events that have helped to make me who I am. As an artist I find I work well when there is an emotional link to my art; I tend to spend a lot of time exploring connections and emotions in my head before committing myself to canvas/paper.
