This year I have been developing an abstract style that flows through all of my subjects. I often push the mediums I use to see what effects and reactions will occur. My work is comprised of both bold and free marks, mixed with more delicate and thought out strokes.
Microscopic images of diseases have been the starting point for creating my body of work. I have been developing abstract worlds of disease that represent inner conflict and also the contradiction of depicting something to be more beautiful than its harsh reality.
