As an emerging artist, my interests have been focused on the delicate things in life. My theme of “The Past” has allowed me to rediscover things, which I have tried to portray in a subtle, tantalising way.
Drapery is a subject matter which I have explored in the past and have now revisited, creating images that express emotion through movement of the creases and folds. My initial focus has been exploring the intimacy of folded fabrics, form and movement within the delicate structures of drapery and portraying the impression of a human presence.
