With a strong illustrative style immersed in narrative, my figurative works have allowed me to explore the impact of my personal history and how it has inevitability become the filter I view the world through. Put simply, my work is an interpretation of the world that I see. This intuitive response sees me working in an expressive way with an emphasis on mark making and the mixing of media. I enjoy exploring the nuances of movement in the human face and the challenge of recording the stories that can be found there. My recent drawings have centered on this architecture of memories constructed from personal experiences and have allowed me to investigate hidden aspects of my own nature.
